Neem has antifungal and antibacterial properties. It is mentioned in Ayurveda to treatment of skin disorders because of its detoxifying properties. It inhibited the growth of acne causing bacteria (Propionibacterium acnes and staphylococcus). It is excellent for skin diseases like acne, boils, ulcer, redness, irritation and prevents the recurrence of pimples and blemishes.
